Opportunity & Spirit
The Opportunity Conference Room managed by The Governor’s Institute gives our industry partners in substance use disorder, mental health and developmental disability fields, a space to host small meetings or trainings in a centralized location at no charge. We are able to accommodate groups with as many as 50 attendees; however, we have table and chair space for 40. We have a brand new, state of the art system installed including an 80” monitor for projecting presentations, 180 degree video camera for remote collaboration, in-house Bluetooth connection with speakers throughout, guest WiFi and more.
We are happy to welcome new groups to our conference room within our industry. If you are interested or know of a group that could utilize our space please send them our information.
Thinking of hosting a lunch meeting? You are permitted to supply your own food and beverage in our space. We simply request that the space is left the way it was found. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
FREE PARKING ON SITE – HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE
Requesting this space is easy. Fill out the request form and either fax or email it to Alex Watkins and await approval. Approval is typically given within 24 hours. Once approved your date and time will be held for your upcoming meeting.
Please see our calendar below for available meeting dates and times. Although not shown, The Governor’s Institute does have a smaller conference room on-site (Spirit Conference Room – max capacity 12 attendees). If your desired date and time are unavailable, please give us a call as we may be able to accommodate both groups.
