Opportunity & Spirit

The Opportunity Conference Room managed by The Governor’s Institute gives industry partners a space to host intimate meetings or small events in a centralized location at no charge. We are able to accommodate groups with as many as 50 attendees; however, we have table and chair space for 40. The Governor’s Institute has the AV needs most meetings require including a LCD projector, audio for video streaming, conference call capabilities, guest WiFi and more.

We are happy to welcome new groups to our conference room. If you are interested or know of a group that could utilize our space please feel free to send them our information.

Thinking of hosting a lunch meeting? That’s great – we won’t provide the lunch but you are permitted to supply your own food and beverage. We simply request that the space is left the way it was found.


Requesting this space is easy. Simply fill out the request form and either fax or email it to Alex Watkins and await approval. Approval is typically given within 24 hours. Once approved your date and time will be held for your upcoming meeting.

Please see our calendar below for available meeting dates and times. Although not shown, The Governor’s Institute does have a smaller conference room on-site (Spirit Conference Room – max capacity 10 attendees). If your desired date and time are unavailable, please give us a call as we may be able to accommodate both groups.
